TI (Telecom implementation ) Project Engineer

Job Description

Main Responsibility Area

-Agrees the site solution to be used together with regional project manager and customer. Ensures site visits are done according to the project site process.







- Supports project manager on roll-out schedule preparation and updates. Supports project manager regarding implementation Quality assurance and Risk Management. Reports to project manager all equipment implementation deviations from the original planning, i.e. Extra works, delays, cancellations, etc…







- Manages and coordinates the Implementation process according to agreed customer time schedule. Ensures the correct usage of project tools (IPM) and the data content.







- Ensures implementation resourcing is planned properly for the project. Monitors demand plan for implementation teams (Installation, commissioning and integration). Internal and external resourcing accordance with NI outsourcing strategy.







- Responsible for a site from ready for Installation milestone until the issuance of the Final Acceptance Certificate (including site installation, commissioning and integration). Provides required progress reporting for customer needs.







- Within the project, ensures clear communication interfacing among different internal and customer functions. Participation in customer interfaces and meetings as required.







- Responsible for the timely ordering and delivery of all equipments and site materials in cooperation with the Logistics. Monitoring the COMPANY site material inventories and availability for implementation according to site implementation schedule. Responsible to follow-up the service supplier supplied site material demand planning and inventory.







- Works with project manager and service procurement to review rollout and technical competence of service suppliers. Provides necessary project related documents to service supplier teams. Ensures adequate Quality and timely supply of the service supplier teams. When needed arrange training and assessment to service supplier teams. Sort out technical challenges together with service suppliers.

>> TI Project Enginner is responsible for managing the eNodeB site implementation roll-out and the performance of Implementation services on individual sites in accordance with the Project processes, COMPANY product documentation and Implementation Guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Education: B.Sc. in Electricity and Electronic Engineering or related Engineering

• Experience: 4+ years working experience in Telecom implementation projects, with at least 2+ years working in 2G/3G/CDMA BTS implementation projects. Previous experience of service supplier team management and coordination. Proven Project Management, Organization and communication skills.  ( 대졸 신입도 지원 가능합니다.)

• Hands-on experience in 2G, CDMA or 3G BTS implementation, e.g. as installation/commissioning engineer for Indoor/Outdoor BTS/NodeB, E1/External Alarm Cabling, Antenna line installation and commissioning. Preferably knowledge on 2G BTS and/or 3G NodeB commissioning. Preferably knowledge of COMPANY (previously COMPANY COM or COMPANY Networks) 2G/3G BTS product portfolio, product specifications, implementation specifications.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft office common tools, MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
